The two pictures show a classic example of the Hydrocarbon gas leak being visualized, which is otherwise not possible with the help of the conventional technology.

 

The current methodology used by the industries to identify gas leaks are Soap water solution and TVA i.e. Toxic vapor analyzer. The results of these technologies are not up to the mark leading to confusions. To overcome the limitations of conventional methods a new technology came into picture, the results of which are accurate and marvelous. It not only guides in plugging the leak to the tune of say 0.007Ltrs/ min of LPG gas but, also creates a visual image of the source of leak on the screen which is self explanatory, in rectifying & plugging exact source of leak. Gas leak appears as smoke on screen.

 

This integrated technology is increasingly being adopted by plants across the world for the visualization and documentation of gas leaks to monitor the level of Hydrocarbon emissions in the atmosphere.

 

This technology has some value added features which help in locating Electrical, Mechanical and Insulations faults.
